Financial Aid Process

Thank you for your interest in ASA COLLEGE – Miami Campus, here are 3 steps to help you get started with the Financial Aid process as well as the admissions process.

1) FIRST STEP: GET YOUR FSA IDs
Both you and the parent who will be signing the FAFSA application will need to get an FSA ID in order to digitally sign some documents in later steps.

Remember! One FSA ID for the student and one FSA ID for the parent signing the documents

 

2) SECOND STEP: COMPLETE YOUR FAFSA(Free Application For Federal Student Aid)
When prompted for the school code, use the following information:
ASA College: 030955 (Brooklyn Campus): Same code used for Miami Campus Students
Begin your application at the FAFSA website: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

 

3) THIRD STEP: PREPARE FOR YOUR VISIT
Please bring the following documents:
Student Documents:

  • Photo I.D (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, Green Card, or any other official photo ID)
  • Proof of Citizenship or Permanent Residency Status (eg. U.S. Birth Certificate, U.S. Passport, Naturalization Certificate, Green Card)
  • Social Security Card
  • High School Diploma (or GED, or High School Transcripts or GED Transcripts)
  • Tax Returns 2016
  • (If you worked in 2016) – you may need your IRS Tax transcripts in case of Verification
  • 2016 W2 (If you worked in 2016)

☞ If your date of birth is on or after January 1, 1995 please bring the following documents:

Parent/Guardian Documents:

  • Proof of Parent Signature (e.g: State ID, Job ID, or signed Social Security Card, etc.)
  • Parents Tax Returns 2016 or 2016 IRS Tax transcripts
  • Parents W2’s 2016
