REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The Arthur J. Hidalgo Memorial Scholarship is available on a competitive basis to students who meet the eligibility criteria. Typical criteria include grade point average, enrollment in a specific academic program, and residence in a limited geographic area, community service or co-curricular activities. Other factors which are considered include essays, recommendations and interviews. The Arthur J. Hidalgo Memorial Scholarship is awarded once a year in the fall semester. Only students in the degree programs are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students must also maintain a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.75 to continue to receive this scholarship in subsequent semesters.
AWARD AMOUNT:
Scholarship covers full amount of tuition and fees for each semester the student is eligible.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applicants must complete an ASA admissions and scholarship applications, meet with an ASA Admissions Representative, take and pass all required placement tests, apply for financial aid, submit an essay and a letter of recommendation. Deadline for submission: Friday of the 2nd week of the FALL semester
